One year ago, I published my website. For me, it is truly a labor of love and an opportunity to share my passions with the world.
I have a calendar diary in which I write a few things that I do each day. The calendar lasts five years, so I can always see what I did the previous years on the exact day. When I went to write in it recently, I realized that, one year ago, I published my website, Sights & Tastes. Wow, time sure flew by!
One year ago, I published my website!
When I think about this past year, and all the struggles, losses, and changes that occurred, I find myself searching for a silver lining. For me, that silver lining is creating my website. It is truly a labor of my love.
This past year gave me an opportunity to photograph so many beautiful sights in nature and share them with you. This past year gave me an opportunity to cook my favorite dishes, try out many new recipes, and share them with you. This past year allowed me to explore places online that I can’t wait to travel to and share the places I’ve already been to with you.
In a way, this past year provided me with ways to stay connected with people near and far. I am grateful for the time I had this past year to reach out of my comfort zone and share parts of my life with all of you. That’s the silver lining I am thrilled to have found!
